Dubai Creek Lights

Dubai Creek is preparing to shine in a new light.

Dubai Creek Lights is an AED 80 million public-realm initiative planned across 8 km of the historic waterway, connecting six key waterfront areas through more than 5,000 architectural and landscape lighting units.

From Creek Quay and the Gold Souq promenade to Al Shindagha, Bur Dubai Souq and Al Seef Marina, the project aims to strengthen each area’s identity while improving nighttime visibility, pedestrian comfort and the overall waterfront experience.

The lighting strategy is also being designed with marine life in mind, using controlled illumination to reduce environmental impact.

Scheduled completion: Q1 2027.

Projects like this can strengthen heritage visibility, visitor activity and the appeal of surrounding districts—but they should be viewed as public-realm catalysts, not guaranteed investment returns.

Project details and timelines are based on current official announcements and remain subject to change.
